OUR BOAT

Jon's dream our whole marriage is to get a boat. Well in the middle of August that dream became a reality to him. He looked for weeks on KSL, until he found the right one. We got a pretty good deal on a 1980 boat. After Jon spend all week getting the boat all cleaned and put together we finally got to take it out on Saturday. We got up early and headed up to Willard Bay. It was a pretty windy day which make the lake really choppy. Needless to say the boys and I didn't like getting bumped around a lot. But the water was pretty warm so we were able to play in the bay and really enjoyed having a boat. We packed a lunch and had a nice day. It will be fun to take out lots next summer. Weston's owie

Weston was playing in the garage one day and one of the boards that goes to Cason's future big boy bed fell on his big toe. He cried non stop for an hour and a half before falling to sleep he then woke up and whined all night. He tossed and turn in agony until 3 in the morning. It was bloody and swollen. The next day he wouldn't walk. This is also the day we went to see the monster trucks. Needless to say that was fun carrying him every where lol. He finally walked on it a little bit on Monday. The nail got snagged on something on Friday and was lifting. I tried to get him to let me pull it off. He wouldn't let me but eventually when it was hanging on by a thin piece of skin he let me pull it off. He said he toe was much better and not broken anymore once the toenail fell off. This was quiet an ordeal for him he said he could never where shoes or socks again. :) what a character.

Before he would let me pull it off

This was when it first got snagged.

Rocky Mountain Monster Trucks

Jon has a guy he does somethings for and to repay him he gives him tickets to Rocky Mountain Raceway. We got tickets to see the monster trucks. We got the rock club so we got free dinner and drinks. Weston had to wear headphones because we were worried it might be too loud. He LOVED the trucks. In fact when we left we had to go straight to Walmart and buy him a truck. He still talks about it and drives his trucks around like what he saw. The only sad part was when he threw up but he refused to leave. He threw up twice and was then fine. Huh go figure. Bear Lake

***Lots of Posts check them all out***
I finally convinced Jon to go to Bear Lake and to Rasberry Days. We went up on Saturday morning and found us a place to set up camp. Then we went back to town and went to the little fair. I got some of the cutest flowers for my hair and Jon bought rasberry syrup. I then of course had to get a rasberry shake. We then went back to camp and played in the water. It wasn't too bad. The kids had so much fun splashing around. And throwing rocks. I think playing in the tent and throwing rocks was there favorite things to do. We had a campfire and roasted marshmellows and then we got to see the literally 5 or 6 fireworks they set off. We had a great time just being together. Cason on the way there.

Treehouse Musuem

A few weeks ago we went to the Tree House Museum. Both the boys had so much fun. They loved it all. Weston's favorite was of course the trains. He played there for about 45 minutes. Cason loved to just explore and walk around. They both also really liked the farm and they played with a play barn for quite a while as well. We definately need to go there more often.Weston driving his fire truck

24th of July

For the 24th of July we did the traditional festivities. On the 23rd my mom and the boys and I went to Bountiful to go to the carnival. We started the day by having a delicious lunch at El Matador then onto the park. Weston loved the swings. He had to go 3 times. Cason did have fun even though the picture doesn't show it. Then we went to the train at first he didn't want to do it but we went back and he ended up liking it so much he had to do it twice. He also did the fishing pond where he got a weird looking ball. Our friend Cherie fought the crowds and got us a spot for the parade. The parade lasted FOREVER! It seriously went on for two hours. Weston literally got a whole grocery sack full of taffy (lol) and three frisbees. We had a great time. Horrible picture of the train.

Getting ready to ride the train.

Cason sort of enjoying the parade
