Dentist
Yesterday Weston and I went to the dentist. Me for my biyearly check up him for his first check up ever. I wanted him to do prepared so he wouldn't be nervous so all day Sunday I was telling him he was going to the dentist and he was going to check out his teeth and clean them. We practiced opening his mouth wide. On Monday we brushed his teeth real well and off we went. Weston wanted to bring Big Bird so I said sure. When we got there Weston said I don't want to go to the dentist. I reassured him he would be fine. He sat on my lap while I was getting my teeth cleaned and checked. Then it came to be his turn. While we were waiting for his turn, Weston turns to me and says, "I need to go to another dentist, this one is a bad one." I was dumbfounded. I recovered and tried to reassure him again. The hygienist gave him glasses to wear, nope didn't work. She tried looking at Big Bird's teeth that helped. To get him to open wide she had him look in a mirror at his teeth. To put the fluoride on she used a paintbrush. All in all not to bad. His teeth are healthy and strong and we go back in 6 months.

9 months
My sweet little Casey Roo turned 9 months old on the 12th. My Grandma and I would talk about how in December my Grandpa would finally get to meet Cason when they come out to visit around the holidays. I discussed how he would be 9 months old. That seemed like so far away (it is when he is 2 months) but now that time is here. I know I keep saying this but where has the time gone? I just can't believe how old my sweetheart is getting. Here is the latest. Since turning 8 months old he has learned to crawl. pull himself up to standing, put his own pacifer in his mouth, feed himself, and cut a tooth a few month after he turned 8 months old. He has now cut 3 more teeth in one weekend. He now has his 2 front and 2 bottom teeth (atleast cut, only one is all the way in). Cason is such a hambone. He love to eat bread, mush, cooked carrots, mashed potatoes, rice crispy cereal, and donuts (thanks Grandma). He is a little chatterbox when he is happy. I just can't believe how big he is getting. Pretty soon he will be walking and talking. Love you Cason. His 9 month appointment isn't until January so stats will follow then.

Elmo Grows Up (finally)
Last night Jon and I took Weston on a date. We went with our friends Cherie, Brandon, and Brooklynn and went to the Seasame Street product Elmo Grows Up at the E-Center. All I can say is FABULOUS! We had WONDERFUL seats right on the floor only 9 rows back. Weston was mesmorized. He sat completely still the entire time. He didn't do this at Disney On Ice or the Circus but man did he ever for Seasame Street. I hadn't told him ahead of time we were going because I didn't want to face a possible tantrum. I told him Thursday morning that he had to make sure he was really good for Grandma because he was going to go on a date with Mommy and Daddy. We were going to go see Elmo. He immediately began asking "Is Big Bird (his new favorite), Cookie, Zoey, Oscar, and Ernie going to be there?" After assuring them I was sure they would be he was set. After work I picked him up and Cason stayed with my mom (thank you again Mom) and we went home and got ready. Then we picked Jon up and he got ready at a friends house. Then we headed to Cherie and Brandon's house. We drove down together and after getting our customary popcorn and drinks we sat down. Weston was completely mesmorized and only talked to ask where Big Bird was then he left the stage or to say "train" when they brought out the big train and say "We've been working on the railroad." Weston even had to bring Big Bird into the performance and when we came home he was quite upset that Dad even thought about leaving him in the car. It was a great night and we will for sure be going again. Enjoy the pictures and movies.

O Christmas Tree
Jon got to be Clark Griswald once again this year. We went back to Neville Farm to pick out a tree and take it home. Too bad it was so cold and snowy. Weston wanted to get out and pick out the tree too but we kept him in the warm truck until we had picked the tree. Then we let him watch Jon cut it down. He was smart this year and brought his chainsaw.

Me getting ready to go (my new hair color as well)
Jon concentrating on the terrible roads
Jon actually cutting the tree down
When we got home we set up all the decorations while Jon cleaned up all the dead branches and drilled a whole in the bottom. Weston was so excited when we would get out something new. It was hilarious. He was like "look mom its santa, or a snowman, or an ornament."

Weston insisted on wearing Jon's 49er's baseball hat instead of his beanie. It was so big on him this is what he looked like in the carseat. I thought he was asleep because he wouldn't talk to me but when I said we were there he popped up and said "I want to get out I want to pick my tree."
Cason getting the tree. Don't you just love Weston's cluster of ornaments?
