Trick or treating

*****As usual check out all the updates*****
On Saturday night we went trick or treating. The day was really cloudy and then right before it was time to go it started to rain. Jon and I decided to put the canopy on the wagon and take the kids out. Luckily the rain slowed to a srinkle then disappeared. Yay! Weston has been so excited to go out. It was funny after about 15 houses he says, " I am sick of saying trick or treat and thank you!" We proceeded to tell him that if he doesn't say it then he won't get anymore candy needless to say he got over being sick of saying it. Cason was so funny he wanted to knock on the door just like Weston and so he would knock then sit on the step by the doors. He was cracking us up. Then he would say treat. After getting his treat.

Halloween Party

Jon has been out of town the last three years for Halloween for work so I was so excited to have him home this year. Halloween is special to me and him because we met at a Halloween party 6 years ago and got engaged on Halloween night 5 years ago. Any way Jon wanted to have a party since he was going to be home. So Thursday night we decided to have one on Friday night. It was a lot of fun. I took the boys trunk or treating in my mom's ward and then came home to party. Our friend Carl brought his daughter, Lexi. Lexi and Weston played the whole time. It was so cute. I put Cason to bed and then we got to party too. We had great friends over and played some beer pong, and did some visiting. Definately a fun night but staying up until 4:30 only to get up at 8:50 with the kids wasn't much fun.

Halloween carnival

Last weekend while Jon was deer hunting my mom and I took the boys to the Clearfield Aquatic Center for a Halloween carnival. It was so much fun and the boys were able to do everything for only $10. We are going again for sure next year. Weston asked if there was going to be basketball since there were going to be games. I told him I didn't know. He was totally thrilled when there was one. There was also fishing ponds, bowling games, canoe rides, marshmellow shoots, and kinds of carnival games. There was one that was toss the toilet paper into the toilet bowl. We let Cason do it and he got it in. We cheered for him and he looked at Weston like "Hey I am as cool as you!" Too cute!

Pumpkin Walk

Syracuse always does a pumpkin walk every Halloween. We have made it the last three years. This year because the weather was going to be bad for 2 of the 3 days the day we went it was so packed. We were in line for about an hour. The kids held up pretty well. Weston and Cason loved watching all the other kids run around and play.Sesame Street pumpkins

Weston's 4th birhday party

****SEVERAL UPDATES CHECK THEM ALL OUT****The kitchen decorations for the party.

This Thomas took me 3 hours to paint but was so worth it Weston kept telling me if looked wonderful and the he loved Thomas splendid coat of red (ha he is blue)
The day after Weston's birthday we had his birthday party. I must say it turned out great and all the hard work and money was SO worth it. Weston had a great birthday. When the party was over he was already lobbying for his next years party. For months Weston has been telling me he wanted a Thomas The Train party so that is what he got. We started off by having everyone come at 1:00. By 2:00 everyone was there and enoying themselves. The kids played pin the name on Thomas the Train. The kids liked it so much we did three rounds. We then played Hot Potato with Thomas the Train and musical chairs. We all then enjoyed a delicious lunch of hot dogs, Jon's chilli cheese dip, and shrimp salad. The kids then got to paint ceramic train and butterfly piggie banks that I found at the dollar store. Score! At one point Weston came up to me and asked, "mom would you mind if I opened my presents?" I chuckled and then replied that yes I would mind and he had to wait. Which he was fine with. When everyone was ready he got to open up his loot. This was one spoiled boy. From Uncle Lance and Kortnee he got two shirts, from both great grandparents he got bonds, Alisa and Erin gave him the cutest Toy Story pants and levis, Rachel and Dana gave him a Thomas the train vintage shirt and pants, Oakley, Jenn, and Dallas gave him a police car, Brooklynn, Cherie and Brandon gave him a Thoms coloring book and two DVDs, and from Auntie Kim, Uncle Colin and Sean he got totally spoiled. He got a Harold the helicopter which he has to sleep with nightly, a thomas the train football, and a real basketball. From Grandma he got two shirts, and a real train and track. We then sang Happy Birthday which he loved. We had to sing twice and blow out the candles, and everyone enjoyed cake and ice cream. When everyone left he made me and Cason replay all the games again. It was so cute. Happy Birthday Weston. Weston and Sean playing musical chairs
