Its begun again

We found out about 4 days before his first game that soccer had began again. Weston loved soccer in the spring and has been super excited to start again. We got up eary to get up tot he field for his 9:30 game. Jon was bow hunting so it was just my mom and the boys. Weston was so psyched because his team color was red. When he got his uniform he was like I am red like the Utes. (yep he's mine). Let's just say that Weston wasn't the greatest player on his team in the spring. He ofte couldn't follow the ball and when he kicked he missed the ball. But I was so PROUD at how he did today. He stayed with all the kids. Got right in there and got a lot of great kicks in. I was thrilled.  With the boys' eye condition I worry about him missing out on things because he can't see.  T-ball was a challenge for him when he was in the outfield  And the sun made it hard to see with soccer.  But my heart swelled today with how well he did :)  Here is to a new season with the Red Dragons.
Practicing before the game.

I told him I wanted a pictur and this is the pose I got ha.
This is how Cason spent most of the game.

Weston is number 2

Hogle Zoo

This week was my last week off with the boys so of course we had to jam pack it full of fun. Right?  On Monday we went to the Hogle zoo.  I wanted to wait until the new exhibit Rocky Shores was finished before we went hence why we waited until the end of summer to go.  We had fun.  I bought pizza from little ceasers then we went up.  Cason's favorite was the gorillas and Westons was the giraffes and the train.  I miss the penguins I mean really who gets rid of the penguins.  I guess they will be bringing back the lions in the next few years so that will be cool!  And where did the hippo go?  Beware photo overload.

the mama and baby elephant who isn't such a baby anymore

Weston and I because were cute :)

This gorilla was Cason's favorite we spent 20 minutes with him and we had to go back twice

The reason the boys and Cason loved him so much was because he was eating reading a magazine.  The boys thought that was so cool he was reading.  It was pretty cool.  We had to o back twice because the time we came back he was sleeping and Cason wasn't pleased with that.  Then we went back and he was reading again.

Weston is as tall as a juvenile gorilla.
The river otters were so cute I just love otters and sea lions.

Are zoo finally got bears back, a polar bear and two or three grizzlies.

I could watch the sea lions or hours.
Aren't these two so stinking cute?

We then played in the playground.  Weston convinced me to get in the eggshell with them.

Of course what is any zoo trip without a trip on the train,

Weston took this photo of himself in the bathroom gotta love that boy!
I also love me some meerkats.

That was our zoo adventure.  I don't know when we will be back as they are closing the train in the fall until 2014 and doing more construction.  Booo!  We had a great time!

Baby Animal Days

One day while on Spring Break we drove up to Wellsville (I think) to baby animal days.  It was so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Definitely worth the 45 minute drive to get there.  Our friend Trisha, her grandma and her two daughters met us there.  There were so many adorable babies that I wanted to steal love on.  Baby ponies, chicks, ducks, calves, puppies, lambs, goats, on and on.  We got to pet them all and we loved it.  Cason wasn't so sure at first then he loved it.  The baby goats and lambs kept trying to eat Cason's jacket.  We then waited in line for almost an hour to go on the train, because Weston of course LOVES trains.  They had a few old house and barns that we were able to tour.  The boys each got wooden rubber band guns as souvenirs.  We literally were there for 5-6 hours.  We will defiantly be going back next year.

Here is Cason and Weston holding some adorable baby duckies.

A little hesitant at first.

The boys were so good waiting in line for the train.
Getting to pet the babies my FAVORITE part.
I am so glad it was such pretty weather.  I was worried it would be rainy or cold but it was a beautiful day!
