It's a girl!

We added a new member to our family. And its a girl! We adopted a 7 week old lab today. SHe is so sweet. And Weston just loves her. He goes up to her and is so soft and he says, "oooooohhhh"! Tails isn't 100% sure about her yet. He wants to play with her but right now she is too little to play with him. And yet soon she will be way bigger than him. If you have any suggestions for a name we would love to hear them.

Sleepy Boy

Check out his sleepy pose!

Weston was so grumpy and tired on Sunday because he only had an hour nap. By 7 he was so tired I decided after he ate dinner he was going to bed. At 8 we walked into his room and he instantly started to cry. Since I was worried going to bed at 8 he might wake up in an hour and not going back to sleep for a while. So we went back out and I put him on the rocker with his blanket and went to get me a bowl of macaroni. 3 minutes later I walk back to grab Weston and he was asleep. With his arms behind his head. I guess he really was tired. He slept all night long. Oh how I love that.

Weston and the tree

When we put the tree up Weston was so fastinated by it. At first he would go up to it and I would say no and he would move away. Then he started to go up to the tree and shake his head no and say, "no". In the video you will see he then just started doing as he pleased.

Santa's Lap

Weston's Visit with Santa. He was so good no crying or anything. He mostly just started at him.

Thanksgiving

Someone looks like he had too much pie!

Jon had to have a drumstick

I am already to eat!

Weston enjoying his food. Yummy!

This is a little late but better late then never. For Thanksgiving this year we had dinner at our house. My mom and her boyfriend Brett came over for dinner. Weston loved the mashed potatoes, yams, and pie. He was so funny to watch he gobbled like the rest of us. It was so much fun to start our own little tradtion but I miss the big dinners with all my aunts, uncles, and cousins at my Grandma's house but I guess as you get older things change.

baby contest

The happy winners!!!

On Saturday Jon, my mom, Weston and I went to Clearfield High Schools Christmas festival. The had booths with gifts, pictures with Santa and food. Well they also had a baby contest. I decided to enter Weston just for the heck of it. There was about 20-25 babies in the contest. They were giving away prizing such as curliest hair, most hair, chubbiest cheeks, cutest expression. Well I thought Weston was going to win cutest expression because 4 of the judges kept point to him and "we got us a winner there, look at that face." So they start announcing the winners. When it came to cutest expression and his name wasn't called then all the other awards and his name wasn't called I was starting to feel bad. Then they said, "And lastly the winner for Judges choice goes to..." Weston he won!!!! He got a certificate, a bear, and a free picture with Santa (which we had already done and paid for). So Weston is a winner but hey I already knew that. Just had to take a moment and brag.

Weston at 9 months old

I just LOVE this smile. He went through a stage where he just smiled so cheesy like this all the time.
Look at those ears they look like elf ears. He has his dad's ears.

Weston with his Daddy.

Jon and I thought it would be fun to take pictures of Weston with his fly fishing pole.

Weston loved to put the real in his mouth.

His overalls were so big but when you took the strap off we could barely keep them on.

He makes me smile.

HALLOWEEN

I was a flapper for Halloween. Go 1920's!!!
This is my sweet little lion
At school we had a parade so of course I had to dress up as something. I was going to as a graduate and wear my cap and gown from college then I found this cute costume. I just hated walking in front of all the parents. Its so embarrassing. Weston and my mom came for the Halloween party in my class so I could show Weston off. Everyone thought he looked so handsome. I must admit he was. (Not that I am prejudice or anything, ha ;) It was so cute he would even growl.

Corn Maze

This is Weston in his Halloween costume waiting to go into the farm.
My Mom, Charity, Weston and I going down the slides.

Jon shooting the corn cob gun, he even hit the target. Go Babe!
Weston and I on the pig train.
Jon, Charity, Weston, my Mom, and I went to the Black Island Farms in Syracuse. It was so much fun we are defiantly going to make this a tradition. You can take a hayride to a pumpkin patch, shoot paint balls and corns cobs out of guns, play in play areas. They had a fun little play area that was perfect for 2-5 year olds. We went on these slides they had for adults and kids. They had corn mazes for kids, families and then there was the field of screams. Charity, Jon and I went to the field of screams while Weston and my Mom got lost in the family corn maze. The field of screams was fun but let's just say I had to use the potty when we left. Charity fell twice in the maze trying to get away. Jon said she would be the first one to die in a horror movie. Sad! LOL.

Weston=Chuckie

Tonight at dinner Weston just started to make the funniest faces. He would scrunch up his nose and breath in and out. He looked like an adorable Chuckie doll. It was too funny. Here are two videos of him being silly.

Weston is ONE!

Weston's first birthday cake
Weston's birthday buddies.
Hitting the pinata with Daddy
I just love that cake!!!
Weston going head first into the cake.
Weston all ready to eat some cake!!!!

On Monday, October 15th Weston Jonathan Hemphill turned one years old! I can't believe how fast this year has gone. It just seems like I just delievered him and here he is cruising around all the furniture, and talking up a storm with his jibber jabber. But he has been the biggest blessing in my life besides my husband. He had a big party on Saturday with family and friends. We had a nice BBQ, and pinata for the older kids at the party. But we got a cute picture of Weston holding the bat. Then there is the cake. Weston went nuts with his cake. He would have eaten the whole cake if we would have let him. Ha!
