4 months old

My little Casey Roo has been 4 months for a few weeks now but we just got back from the doctor's so here are my little man's stats:
height: 25 3/4 inches long
weight: 12. 9 pounds
head: 40.2 cm
We got some bad news at his appointment. We think Cason may also have nystagmus like Weston. His eye shake just like Weston's did at this age and the pediatrician wants me to take him to the opthamologist to be sure. They can't see him until September so I will have that weighing on my mind for the next month and a half. Ugh! But other then that he is a happy healthy little guy.

Parade and 4th of July

On the 23 my mom her neighbor Rachel, Rachel's daughter Bella, Weston, Cason and I went to the Bountiful carnival and parade. This has been a tradtion in my family for years and I am happy to keep it going with my children. At the carnival Weston went for a ride on the train, ate a snowcone, rode on a swing, went fising, and rode a pony. He had a blast. I think the train was his favorite though. Poor Cason was dying of heat you will see later from the rosy cheeks he had. We then heades down to watch the parade. We didn't get there in time/or put chairs out the night before to save seats. We were lucky enough to find a spot infront on my friend Lindsay. Weston loved the firetrucks and the bands. He had been asking me all day when would it be time to go to the parade and see the firetrucks. (Fun little side note he kept trying to give me my "fwippy flops" to go to the parade all day.) Jon came and watched the parade with Weston for a minute then he had to go back to work. Poor Daddy he always misses out. After the parade we went up to my Grandpa's house and watched the fireworks. Daddy got to join us there. Weston liked the fireworks but he had to hold onto my hand for dear life the whole time.

On the 24th of July we went to our friends Cherie and Brandon's for a BBQ and fireworks. The food and company were great. Weston got to do sparklers for the first time and he loved them. He just wanted to keep doing fireworks, over and over again.

Gee I wonder what was Weston's favorite part.

The kids we all fighting over who got to play with him and take him down the slide. While running to get two open chaise lounges I didn't notice I was going to sit right next to my cousin Lindsay her kids: Jackson, Ellie, and Macey and my Aunt Michelle it was great to see them and visit. It was a wonderful day!

Family Pictures

My friend Stephanie posted on here blog that her sister was starting a photography business and was running a special so since I needed to get Cason's 3 month pictures done I decided to call her. She did a wonderful job taking pictures of both Weston and Cason. Then a few days later we had her do our family photos. She did great with a 2 year old who wasn't very cooperative. Thanks Jenny. If anyone wants to use her, here is her website: http://www.simplysublimephotography.blogspot.com/ Enjoy sorry there are a lot of pictures.

4th of July Camping Trip

For the 4th of July weekend we went camping with our good friends the Spackmans up at Strawberry Resivour. My cousin Clay who is also in town from Texas came with us. The boys enjoyed waking up early every morning and fishing until the girls called and wanted help with the kids and making breakfast. After breakfast was made and eated we would either four wheel or go back to the lake to fish, play in the water, and catch crawdads. Then we would come back for lunch and the guys would go back out and fish until dinner time. We had so much fun around the campfire. We made smores, talked, and got to witness for the first time blue darts. I can now say that I am a witness that they are real. LOL THe guys also had fun shooting guns as you will see from their poses later. We all got sunburned and had a great time. Thank you guys for a wonderful time.
