Two weekends ago we finally got to use our new camping gear. Since bought the boat we have had to either take the tent trailer or the boat. So we decided to sell the tent trailer. We went and bought a bunch of camping stuff in the end of June. Well we finally used it. We went to The Cabins at Bear River but we didn't stay in cabins. We got up there about 8 on Friday night. I set up the inside of the tent while Jon hunted for firewood. Weston and Cason had some yummy smores then we headed off to bed. Of course when you are camping you wake up at the crack of dawn it seems and this was no exception for us. Breakfast was made and we went for the first of many 4 wheeling rides. I had a rough start but once I just chilled and had confidence in myself the rest of the rides went much better. We went to Lily Lake so Jon could fish. I took the boys on a little walk.

Kenny Chesney
I have been in love with his music for years. Almost since his first CD. Every time he comes to Utah I am either way pregnant, going out of town, or don't have the money. I had mentioned to Jon that I really DESPERATELY want to go this year. I said we should just use some of our tax return and go. Well on Cason's birthday Jon surprised me with a beautiful card and tickets to go in 4 months. Jon and I were seperated at the time so this meant the world to me. We had a real low a few weeks later so I was figuring once July rolled around I would be going alone :(
BUT.......July 9th rolled around and Jon and I are no longer seperated and we are doing really well :) So needless to say this concert was super special to me!
As you can see when we first got to USANA it was really windy. I guess all over Utah there was tons of rain and lightening there nothing just wind which clamed down.
Here is Jon and I waiting for the concert to begin.
Uncle Kracker and Billy Currington came with Kenny. Uncle Kracker was okay and I really liked Billy Currington. But once He .... came on stage I never sat down. Jon and I danced and sang to ALL the songs. It was so much fun to be there and be in love and just be happy! It was the perfect culminate to a really rough few months.
The night before the concert our friends Crystal and Chon decided to go they got there in time for Billy Currington.

Liberty Park Playdate
I have two great friends I went to college with. We have stayed close since. We live from Clearfield to Saratoga Springs and we all teach so its harder to get together then when we were in school but we try to get together about once or twice in the summer, once in the fall/winter time. So for our first get together we went to Liberty Park in Salt Lake. It was perfect it wasn't too hot in fact we were almost chilly even. We went to Tracy Aviary first and then we had a picnic lunch in the park and then the kids were able to let the kids go on the rides at the park. I mean how cool is it that there is a carousel an rides in the park?
It was SO much fun! I just love my friends and can't wait until our next playdate!!!!!!!!!!!

Pool
In May Jon's boss gave us his above ground pool. Needless to say it has been QUITE the project. First we had to rent a lawn cutter to cut up the lawn. We had to move that to the dump and into other places in the yard. Then because our back yard slopes A LOT we had to level it. That took Jon and his dad forever like weeks and there weren't getting any where. So one Friday Jon asked a friend of his to come over with his bobcat and level the dirt. The boys (Jon included) loved having the bobcat come. Here are the pictures.
Let us out of here.
I couldn't resist this picture!
After leveling it then Jon had to bring in and put like two truck loads of sand. Then the real work began. Jon's dad helped him to put the pool all up then for a week we filled the pool then emptied it and then filled it bacuse we couldn't get the liner just right. Jon also had to build a fence around it to keep the kids out while we aren't out there with them.
