Pool

In May Jon's boss gave us his above ground pool. Needless to say it has been QUITE the project. First we had to rent a lawn cutter to cut up the lawn. We had to move that to the dump and into other places in the yard. Then because our back yard slopes A LOT we had to level it. That took Jon and his dad forever like weeks and there weren't getting any where. So one Friday Jon asked a friend of his to come over with his bobcat and level the dirt. The boys (Jon included) loved having the bobcat come. Here are the pictures.

This is what Jon did most of the time while Clay worked the bobcat. This is also Mic, Clay's dad.

Cason and I also did some swinging while they were working.

I just love his little skinny legs.

Weston couldn't have been more happy when he got to ride in the bobcat!

Don't ask about that face lol!

Cason is taking things way too serious...

Let us out of here.I couldn't resist this picture!

After leveling it then Jon had to bring in and put like two truck loads of sand. Then the real work began. Jon's dad helped him to put the pool all up then for a week we filled the pool then emptied it and then filled it bacuse we couldn't get the liner just right. Jon also had to build a fence around it to keep the kids out while we aren't out there with them.

Here is the pool and the fence

The finished product. Almost Jon still has to put the rails on the top but done for the most part. We have really been enjoying our pool. It was a lot of work but now we are enjoying all of Jon's and his dad's HARD labor.

Father's Day

Father's Day was celebrated pretty much all weekend at our house. A friend of ours gave us free tickets to Rocky Mountain Raceway. They had top fuel/jet cars so that was way cool to watch. We couldn't fid anyone to us our other ticket so we sold it and got money for gas for boating the next day. We had a yummy dinner and enjoyed the races.

Me and the hubs

Doc, Jon's dad came with us.

On Saturday we went up to East Canyon to go boating. We had a lot of fun the weather was nice it wasn't too hot or cold. It was nice and relaxing. Jon caught one rainbow trout, even though he had a million lines going :) Then Jon made the crazy decision to get in the freezing water and try out our new tube. He was a lot braver then me and his dad was pretty wild with me that better not happen when I go on it.

On Sunday I made breakfast for Jon and then Weston couldn't wait to give him his gifts. We bought him some wadders, a bunch of shirts, and a #1 dad beer coolie for our favorite dad. The day was rainy and blah so we were just lazy watched some movies and hung out. We sure love Jon and all he does for us!

Memorial Weekend

Memorial weekend was pretty fun this year. A little different but fun. Usually we go out of town but this year we didn't. On Saturday we went to a friend's birthday party for their son and then we went to the drag races. Weston really is all boy and loves cars so we took him with us. He had so much fun, heck so did I. That is until the RAIN :( started once again and the races were canceled but luckily we will get to go again another day!

Getting ready to go to the races (by the way I will be 27 in 2 days from this picture)

Weston in his headphones so the noises didn't hurt his ears

Can I just say I LOVE this boy!!!!

I pretty much like this boy too!
Part of our family (minus Case) and don't mind the nose picking.

I REALLY like these boys :)

Then on Sunday we went to rockport to go camping for the night and fishing for the day. Well we had some issues. First of all we forgot the food for lunch, it was raining, cold and miserable, we didn't bring anything for the kids to do but watch movies but yet we didn't have the tv cord so needless to say I wasn't very happy. POOR Jon! I ended up driving to Park City for lunch and a cord. But then our mattress had a hole in it and I was just over the whole being cold and not having a decent bed to sleep on so I made the family go home. I mean Jon got 7 hours of fishing in come on right? Well Jon came up with camping at home. So we made dinner on the camp stove in the garage and ate in the garage and then we made a tent in the living room and Jon, Weston, Bella and I slept in there.

Isn't our tent great!!!!!

Jon and Weston even roasted marshmellows

Then on Monday which was my 27th birhday we just hung out all day watched movies and then we went to Olive Garden for dinner yum my favorite. I got a new GPS to replace the one the loser theives stole from us.

Mother's Day

This year Mother's Day was really low key. I had really wanted to go boating but due to horrible rain we stayed home. We had my mom over and Jon made us a delicious breakfast. Then we opened presents. I got my mom a lily and a willow tree figurine. She had the boys make me playdough hand prints. Which I love and plan to put up in my kitchen. Then we watched Rabbit Hole. So depressing. We played games with the boys. Then Jon made us yummy dutch oven chicken burritos. So good. Then we watched another movie.

Cason helping to open presents

Me with the boy that made me a mother!

Cason is such a lover

East Canyon

At the beginning of May a good friend of ours let us use their timeshare up at East Canyon for the weekend. We had a lot going on with our garage being broken into, and our seperation etc. So it was just the escape we needed. Unfortunately since we have had unusually wet and snowy weather it was so cold. It was even snowing. Jon really wanted to go fishing. So he went for a few hours on his own and then the boys and I joined him. Can I just say BURRRR!!!! Needless to say we didn't last more then two hours. And that was with us bundled in hats, coats, gloves and blankets. I don't know how Jon stayed on the boat so long. We went for a little longer on Sunday. But most of the time was spent eating, playing around, watching videos, and just relaxing and forgetting the worries of life. Thank you so much Chon and Cyrstal.

My boys all bundled up

Me all bundled up I look like I have no hair.

Driving the boat.

The only fish we saw Jon catch.

On Sunday the sun came out so it was a little warmer.

We saw this beautiful bald eagle and we watches it for quite awhile.

Cutest Sayings

Okay so I was totally worried about Cason's talking. It seemed he was behind all my friends with his speech until....He hit 2 then he took off he talks WAY better then Weston at this age and I though Weston was talking more until we watched some home videos. We have full on conversations its great. Anyway he has some of the funniest sayings I have to document.

5 Minutes-When I tell Cason its time for bed I always get the response 5 minutes. Or for awhile when anyone would tell him something he would say 5 minutes.

Cracker Butt-He loves crackers and one day my mom called him a little Cracker butt now when he eats them he says he's a cracker butt.

Naked butt-When he gets out of the tub and is running around he says "I am a naked butt." And what an adorable naked butt he has.

huh mom? Whenever he says or does something and he wants my approval or response he always says,"....huh mom?" I love it.

Bless you whenever someone coughs or sneezes he says bless you

HIcups for hiccups

My mom said she was sick and tired of them making messes so he says now. I am sick.... I am tired. And if he says he is tired I will say do you want to go to bed and the response I get.....you guessed it 5 minutes.

Man I love this crazy two year old.
