swimming again....

Swimming seems to be our favorite thing to do this summer. Not sure why considering I am a WHALE in a suit and don't even have the excuse of a new baby to use he is 16 months old lol. But we have gone to Roy Aquatic center twice and Clearfield once. Roy is by far our favorite. Cason is a little water baby. He loves the water and when I put him in his tube he just kicks and kicks he loves it. Weston also loves to play in his tube. I also think he really likes the whole picnic lunch idea too. Kangaroo Zoo 2010

For our first playdate of the summer we went to Kangaroo zoo again with my friend Jessica and her two cute girls. Weston as usual wasn't too excited at first then he got into it and loved following Ava around and going down the slides once it was time to go lol. Oh well such is his personality. Cason on the other hand had fun.

Weston was a great brother and had the most fun I think when he was playing with Cason.

Father's Day

Sorry this is so late. I started it on Monday and didn't get back to it until today. So I am not going to bore your with the same ol', same ol' Just wanted to say I love this guy and my boys couldn't ask for a better Daddy. Love you JON! Jon, Cason, Weston a year ago

For father's Day Jon wanted to go fishing so the boys, Jon, Roger and I went to East Canyon. We fished, we swam, we BBQed and we had a fun time.

Nitro Jam

Jon and I got to go on a date Saturday night. It was so much fun. We dropped the boys off at my mom's at about 3 then we headed to Rocky Mountain Raceway for Nitro powered racing. It was so windy which was nice because it made it not so hot but it was murder on my hair. LOL. It was so cool but so loud to watch cars race powered by nitrous oxide. They went so fast. Then they had two trucks powered with jet engines now that was so cool!!!! Here is one of the trucks check out those turbines.

Zoo.... Again

My mom moved apartments the week school got out so I haven't done much this summer so far other then help her organize and unpack. Friday we decided that since the weather was finally nice we should go to the zoo. It was so much fun. We were there from 11-5 and we still didn't see everything. The baby elephant is so cute and Weston decided elephants were his favorite animal. It was so fun because I think this was the first time Weston could really see all the animals and you could just see joy in his eyes. It was great. Checking out the camels the first animal we saw.
Cason loved the gorilla I think its because it looks so much like my mom's fat cat Slick who Cason just adores.

15 Months

I took Cason in on the 15th for his 15 month check up. Here are the stats

Weight: 19 pounds (less than 3rd percentile)

Height: 30 Inches (between the 10-25th percentile)
The doctor yet again talked about him being underweight but I am telling you this kid eats like no other. He is constantly eating and I give him vitamin/iron drops. So what can I do he is just a skinny mini.

Cason's loves to sleep or snuggle with his blankie, walk around with a cord (be it an extenstion cord, blow dryer, curling iron you name it), likes to push trucks around, get in his car by himself and loves it when Weston pushes him in it or pushes him in the wagon. Cason loves to eat cheerios, drink milk, loves corn and beans. Let's face it this kid loves food. He started walking in the middle of May and he walks like E.T. or an old man its so cute. Cason is always on the move he loves to go upstairs to his room and pull clothes out of his drawer. He will sit forever trying to put on shoes or clothes. He doesn't get frustrated. Cason got glasses about two weeks ago but refuses to keep them on. He is really independent but when he wants to he is a momma's boy. He loves Weston and thinks its so fun to play with him. When Cason gives kisses he says muah afterward. He is starting to wave hi when he sees someone new. He loves to walk and if you stop him he gets mad.

My Birthday

We also didn't go any where for Memorial because I wanted to celebrate my birthday lol not by camping. So while we were at Thomas Jon made all the food for my birthday party. Then I dropped my mom and the boys off and headed home for my party. Jon made delicious BBQ and Jon's brother made an awesome beer pong table. Not that I drink beer but it was fun to play. It was fun to visit with friends and just enjoy being me not mommy for a change. Jon's cousin Kortnee surprised me with a birthday cake and everyone singing Happy Birthday. Then on Sunday my actual birthday we went to the Syracuse Pond and relaxed while the boys fished. Then we came home and Jon made the best dutch oven chicken burritos it was a great Birthday for sure.
