30 weeks

How far along:  In the above pictures I am exactly 30 weeks

How big is baby:  The size of a large cabbage.  15.7 inches long and about 3 pounds.

Weight gain: I have gained 16 pounds so far.

How I am feeling:  I am feeling pretty good.  Sleep is just the uncomfortable part.  Turning over in bed is quite the task.  Every once in awhile my tailbone hurts.

What is on my mind:  Figuring out a name STILLLLLLL!!!!!!!!  Getting the nursery finished so I can just enjoy the last few weeks of pregnancy and the beginning of summer with just the boys.  Finding a babysitter for next year for the baby and Cason who isn't going to cause us to go into the poorhouse but will do a reliable good job.

Best moment this week:  Getting the crib skirt, changing table cover, and curtains made this week.  Just have to finish the bumper pads, the quilt, recover the glider and decorate and her nursery is done.  A name would also be nice.

29 weeks

How far along:  29 weeks
How big is baby:  the size of a butternut squash, 15.2 inches long

Weight Gain:  I have gained  16 pounds so far

How I am feeling:  Getting more uncomfortable, some days baby girl is right under my lungs and makes it hard to breath.  Getting really excited to hold my baby girl but not wanting to wish the time away as this is the last time I will get to be pregnant.

What's on my mind:  Continuing to get the nursery finished.  I finally got all the furniture finished.  Now to finish the bedding, the curtains, decorate, and recover the chair.  Pick a name, make a carseat canopy, pick a name, oh and pick a name.  I have been having contractions some braxton hicks and some real ones so last Thursday he checked me.  I am still closed but her head is very low.  I now go in every two weeks.

Best moment this week:  Feeling her whole body shift around and seeing her kicks and movements not just feeling them but seeing them.

28 weeks

27 weeks 5 days
 28 weeks 6 days

How far along:  tomorrow I will be 29 weeks

How big is baby:  the size of a head of lettuce, 14.8 inches from head to toe

Weight Gain:  Honestly I only weighed once this week and I can't remember how much I weighted.  Going to the dr on Thursday so I will know for next week.

How I am feeling:  Getting really uncomfortable when lying down.  Some days my ribs are really tender from the baby getting bigger and I get out of breath fast.  My ankles are starting to swell at the end of the day as evidence by this picture.  My socks make it look worse then it is.

(don't mind the whiteness)
What's on my mind:  Just how soon this little girl could be here.  Still trying to decide on a name.  I think I have my mind made up on Taylyn Marilyn Hemphill.  Jon now has to find something else if he doesn't want it.  Trying to get the nursery all finished.  I spend at least one day all day during the weekend to working on the nursery.

Best Moment:  Feeling her whole body shift around and having the boys or Jon feel it too is pretty amazing.

26 weeks

How Far Along:  26 weeks 5 days in the above picture

How Big Is Baby:  eggplant, 14 inched from head to heel, and around 2 pounds

Weight Gain: 13.6 pounds so far

How I Am Feeling:  Pretty good.  Its getting hard to move around in bed at night.  When I turn over it takes my breath away.  My hips are getting fatter and so are my arms which is really bumming me out.  Starting to out grow a few maternity shirts that a friend lent me so I am feeling ENORMOUS!

What's On My Mind:  Figuring out a baby name, worrying I will lose my milk again and not get to breastfeed for a full year.  I lost mine with Cason around 6 months and it devasted me.  I was able to breastfeed Weston for a full year.  I really hope I can go longer with baby sister.

Best Moment:  Took my gestional diabetes test and passed.  But my iron is low so I have to start taking a supplement.  We got the nursery started this last weekend.  Jon and his brother, Jimmy, painted the top of the walls and put up the beadboard and then I painted it white and worked on the crib.  I feel so much better having that part done.

25 weeks and being a slacker....

These were both taken at 23 weeks
How Far Along:  25 weeks!  Wow if she comes as soon as Cason my baby could be here in 12 weeks.

How big is baby:  the size of a zucchini or eggplant.  Measuring from head to toe 13.6 inches and about a pound and half.

Weight Gain:  When I weighted last Thursday I was up to 11.6 total gain.

How I am feeling:  Pretty good, getting more and more uncomfortable.  I have a sharp pain in a nether region when I go to turn around in bed or get up.  This is normal I guess.  I don't remember it with boys but probably had it.  When I get up from laying in bed it takes my breath away.

What is on my mind:  Getting the nusery started, naming the baby, getting the bedding made, and starting to plan for my sub.

Best moment:  The photographer I wanted ran a sale where her newborn session is half the price so YAY!  I booked monkey face photography to do my newborn session.  Weston felt the baby move and he got the biggest smile on his face.  Totally melted my heart.  Yesterday there was water on my mom's floor and he ran to the door to hold my hand so I wouldn't fall and hurt the baby.  Awe he melts my heart.  I feel the baby moving all the time now its the greatest.  Also the baby had the hiccups the other day and I could find them.  So fun.  Had Jon get down all the baby stuff from the attic.  I sold a few things and got rid of the rest.  I also got the bassinet up and the carseat cleaned.  Progress I guess.

Cason's 4th Birthday

Since Cason's birthday party wasn't until Saturday I wanted to do something special for him on his actual birthday.  Weston wanted to get him something for his birthday so when we were at the dollar store getting table clothes he found this sticker book about transportation vehicles that had everything in it that Cason's loves.  So we had to get it.
Weston hiding the present behind his back.
Weston made Cason close his eyes to get to open his present.  Is that no the cutest face you have ever seen?
I love Cason completely thrilled look.  He loves book and any vehicles so it was perfect for him.
Grandma took him to Toys R Us and let him pick out any toy he wanted.  He picked a toy trimmer.  I hope it last better then the chainsaw did he got at Christmas that was the same brand.  Then for dinner he wanted pizza in a box (Little Ceasers).  Dad also got home early enough he could give the boys a few rides on the four wheeler.  Afterwards we went to Syracuse Family Fun Center.  We played a game of black light mini golf.  Weston did pretty good.  Cason hit the ball a few times then had more fun running around all the props.  We then went and played a game of laser tag and then Jon and Weston played another round while Cason had fun going crazy in the bounce houses.
Most of the pics I took didn't turn out because he was literally being a wild man, it was so funny to watch.  Then we all played a round of bowling.

Once we the boys were all tuckered out we went home to sing happy birthday and have birthday cake.  Cason picked a leprechaun cake as opposed to a birthday cake don't ask lol.

All in all I think Cason had a wonderful birthday!

week 21

Not my photo

How far along:  21 weeks

How big is baby:  The size of a carrot, 10.5 inches long

Weight gain: 8.4 total when I went for my doctors appointment

How I am feeling:  When I lay on my left side after 10-15 minutes I start to get a pain in my rib.  Getting off the couch is a little more challenging if I am laying down but not bad.

What's on my mind:  baby name, when will the boys get to feel her move, and baby's room

Best moment this week:  Hearing her heartbeat at my drs appointment and hearing that everything is going well.
